‘Canary ’ is a live theatre piece inspired by the stories of the women who worked in Britain's munitions factories during the First World War. Set during a zeppelin air raid, Canary uses physical theatre and sound design to create a darkly comedic visceral experience that gives a voice to Britain's brave Munitionettes.

"Circus in a Field"
Bringing people together through theatre, clown, improv and play, for three years running Fun in the Oven provided a delicious menu of games, clowning workshops and superbly crafted cabarets over five nights in the UK's only circus festival in a field.
Clowns on Film
We had a fantastic day with 8 wonderfully stupid clowns at Circus Central in February, as we explored the possibilities and limitations of clowning in front of the camera.
After filming lots of games & improvisations the producing team; Richard Simpson and Almond Kellacher have chose Hildy Harland to be the main character in their upcoming film, 'The Interview'. You can read more about the project and how to get involved here.
Playing House was an original piece of theatre devised by the Women’s Voices project last year in Sept 2014. It was a brave and challenging interactive verbatim performance based on testimonials collected from local women across the North East of England about their experiences of domestic abuse. The performance was created and performed by an ensemble cast of professional and community performers
