Fun in the Oven presents ‘Witcheroo: Spell Delivery Service; a playful, interactive performance combining clowning, ritual, cycling & magic!
Two comedic witches deliver spells, charms and hexes directly to your door. Choose from a menu of Big Spells that can provide healing, enlightenment, inspiration or protection to a whole street, or bite-sized Small Spells for individuals looking for Money, Luck or Love. Expect magical, meaningful and absurd interventions from these two chaotic conjuresses.

Pandemic Pandemonium - how the show came about
In 2020 Fun in the Oven were awarded a place on the Bath Fringe New Works mentoring scheme which enabled us to develop a new piece of outdoor theatre. The scheme was adapted in response to the pandemic to focus on hyper-local street performance, in collaboration with the Bristol Coddywomple. And so Witcheroo: Spell Delivery Service was born, delivering live performance door to door in neighbourhoods in East Bristol. Witcheroo also hit the streets in The Bedlam Fair pop up event in Bath in September. Here are a couple of films of the event created by Mallabar Films.

Created for outdoor settings; expect comic rituals, physical comedy and silly incantations suitable for all the family. Performances last 30 - 45 minutes.

Street-sized spell:
Are you looking for healing, enlightenment, inspiration or protection from the ills of the world? The best local witches will deliver right to your door.
Our ‘Witcheroo’ witches will come to your street, to an agreed address at an agreed date and time. You can choose from four spells; for healing, enlightenment, inspiration or protection and the bewitching enchantresses will enact the spell with you and for you.
Invite your neighbours as we will need the street energy to manifest the spell. Expect a silly, playful, magical and memorable experience. The duration will be approximately 30 minutes.
Please stay in your social bubble. The witches will also ensure safe social distancing throughout the performance.
Witch School Workshop:
Welcome to Witch School! Miriam and Marion will take you on a spell-binding journey giving you all the skills required to join our Witcheroo team. A dynamic, fun and flexible workshop for up to 30 witch trainees between the ages of 4 and 11. Expect games, chanting and rituals. A truly magical experience.
Our witches maintain covid-secure guidelines to keep one and all safe.
